Hello, I'm experiencing problems where my SSD frequently reaches 100% at unpredictable intervals, lasting about 30 to 60 seconds during a specific game. This issue occurs only with New World. I've checked the New World forums for possible solutions but haven't found any help. The problem appears only when using New World; I can use other browsers, watch videos, or play games without the disk being at full capacity. If the disk usage stays below 100%, it remains idle and then fluctuates between 30-60% before spiking again. Sometimes simply opening a tab or launching an app triggers the spike as well. My system details are: Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 3060 Ti, 500GB SSD (338GB free), PSU Corsair 650w, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz. I've tried updating drivers, updating Windows, reinstalling New World, downgrading drivers, resetting virtual memory, and adjusting in-game graphics settings.

I assume you're talking about the open-world MMO game? Do you have the game available on STEAM? If yes, then check the integrity of your game files once more. This appears to be a game-specific problem.
Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files 7
I'm not entirely confident this workaround will apply to your situation, but it's worth a try. However, this method generally functions best when the game is also freezing on your computer.
Press Windows key + R
Type %appdata%
Navigate to AppData > Roaming > AGS > New World.
Remove the Save data folder and the user_preload_settings.cfg file.
Restart the PC and you should notice the deleted files being recreated.
Also, delete these directories:
C:\Users(your comp name)\AppData\Local\AGS
C:\Users(your comp name)\AppData\Roaming\AGS
Then attempt to play the game again and observe if disk usage increases.

Hello, I attempted this and the problem remains unresolved. The game reached 100% in just 30 seconds after launching.
