I have an ASUS Roge prebuilt that was functioning properly the previous day. Yesterday I received a prompt to update, so I enabled installation and restarted it before going to sleep. This morning the computer lights were on but my screen failed to activate. I attempted to power it off and on again using the front power button, but it didn’t work. Then I tried switching it off and on at the PSU, which turned it off but now it won’t power on at all. It doesn’t light up. Could you help identify the issue or suggest what to check? It seems to be an Intel 12700 ASUS RTX 3060 80 Plus Gold PSU, and I’m not sure which motherboard it uses, though since it’s a prebuilt unit I’m confident it’s from ASUS.

It seems a bit unusual, but ensure all power connectors are firmly in place. Look for any indicators, codes, or warning sounds—these can offer valuable insight before proceeding. Some pre-built setups have loose cables, and turning off/on them might slightly shift components. If everything is properly aligned, consider removing a RAM stick. Typically, I start by isolating just the CPU/Mobo (removing RAM, GPU, storage) and then reinserting it if it boots. Adding RAM afterward can help identify the problem or narrow down the culprit.
