I've had this PC tower for about two years while gaming. After upgrading, I moved it to a closet and thought about selling it since it's been unused for over a year. It powers on, but the mouse and keyboard won't activate. The monitor only shows a "no signal" message. It was fully functional when stored. Now it works, with the graphics card and CPU fan still active. Any advice? Thanks.

Reinstall all components such as connections, RAM, CPU, etc. Ensure everything is securely connected and reset the CMOS.

The power supply is definitely activating. I didn’t run this test, but I notice it’s on. The machine, along with fans and all the lights, is turning on, yet it doesn’t appear to send the signal to the monitor or keyboard/mouse. It seems the display port cable is functioning normally, unlike the old setup where the port cord was faulty.

Without enough RAM the device won't start properly, so nothing appears on the display. The cooling fans will run and the system will appear to power up, but it will stop there. It highlights why POST messages and basic audio alerts remain useful.
