I have a Honeywell HT-900 space fan I use during hot weather because I don’t have air conditioning. It sometimes makes my Corsair PC beep when I turn it on or adjust the speed. The fan seems to draw more current than normal, which might be causing the PC to react. The outlets for both devices are far apart, so it’s not clear if one is overloading the other.

I believe it’s about those beep codes. I couldn’t locate any info on their site for PC issues, but I focused on the old power strips that might be faulty. Newer models with strong surge protection are expected soon.
