I would take apart the laptop to check for any dirt or debris between the diaphragm and the speaker grill/shell. Have you attempted removing the audio drivers via Device Manager, reinstalling them using the latest version from Dell's support site with the service tag, in an elevated command? Would it be beneficial to verify if your laptop is awaiting a BIOS update?
