Hello, I am trying to re-install Windows on a Dell OEM PC and it’s giving me trouble. I have Windows 10 on the usb stick and whenever I try to boot into the BIOS either by spamming f2 or f12 it boots to a black screen. When I let it boot normally it boots into Windows 10 fine. When booting the PC itself there is no Dell logo and it just boots straight to Windows. I have tried both the VGA and Display port on the back with no luck. I have also tried booting directly in UFEI from Windows advanced startup and it hasnt worked. What else can I try?

It's an Optiplex 3020 running as a home server with an SSD. I managed to get it into the BIOS, but now it's not working properly when I boot from the Windows USB—it shows a corrupted Windows symbol and won't start. My main PC boots fine from the USB. Can I install Windows by transferring the SSD to my main PC and then swapping it back into the Dell once I finish?

Setting up Windows on another device seems likely to succeed, but it’s wise to keep the initial computer offline during installation.
