The USB-C port on my Dell is not a Thunderbolt connection. It was labeled as a USB-C Disp Alt mode. I reset the BIOS, updated the firmware, installed available drivers, and even tried downloading related software for the Targus docking station. The device reformats itself but refuses to recognize the docking station now. It functioned perfectly on Windows 10 before. The Dell service tag C6GZNF2 still works – it powers the laptop, supports video output via HDMI cable, reads my USB-C card reader, external drive, and connects my Apple USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. The docking station also works fine with another office laptop. Any advice?
