I unintentionally took the Wi-Fi card out while cleaning, and I didn’t realize the laptop was still running. Now it only works when the Wi-Fi card is removed, but it fails if the card is placed in the motherboard’s Wi-Fi slot. I’m currently using an external USB Wi-Fi adapter. I’m checking whether the motherboard’s Wi-Fi port got damaged or the card itself is faulty. If the likelihood points to a damaged card, I’ll go ahead and order a new one.
