I solely use CSGO on this machine and have adjusted it for CS only. Recently I performed a complete system reset to the latest Windows update, but now lag is significantly higher. My ping stays around 10ms compared to what I usually see on servers, though it fluctuates constantly without settling. Every 1ms increase feels like a 10ms jump, so even a 10ms delay beyond the top makes it seem like an extra 100ms. It slows down for about 3-5 minutes before briefly returning. Could there be a driver issue or interference from my ISP? Did I overlook any past tuning that might affect performance now? Or is this just a coincidence starting after the reset? Any advice would be appreciated. Old Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/nwSZz...BhJkXYDmC5 New Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/LVxt6...vghF7ckRdI

Changes can occur like this. It's unusual but does happen. Maybe certain items were reset to the default state or something similar. It could be that actions are being handled differently, or there might have been a server-side update unrelated to your input. Coincidence doesn't equal cause. You might be able to revert it.

The term "reset" refers to a real feature in Windows 10 that can restore the system to its original state. Are you leveraging this reset option or performing a complete wipe and reinstall? In either scenario, ensure your system is up-to-date with all drivers—motherboard chipset, network adapters, graphics cards, USB devices, etc.

For a complete overhaul, I’d attempt a full reinstall to check for issues. If that fails, recent patches likely aren’t helping CS:GO.

You can revert changes if an update is problematic.
