Space Hulk: Deathwing's launch has been rescheduled five days later, now set for 14th December. This change comes after the final closed Beta in late November. Read more at the provided links. The anticipation for the release day is high, especially since I've already paid in advance. Despite the challenges seen with Batman Arkham Knight and other recent releases, I understand why developers are taking this cautious approach. It would have been better if more effort had gone into addressing player concerns beforehand. I hope the team at Streum On studio maintained their integrity by delivering a polished product. Many gamers feel let down when games don't match expectations after launch. What do you all think?

When a game improves in five days, it doesn't seem like much.

I’d prefer it if they extended the launch by ten days, especially since I already invested around £40 searching for a better time. It would have been frustrating knowing it could’ve launched on December 9th instead.

They launched a beta version, allowing the community to notice and report issues. The developer responded promptly, delaying the official release to address remaining problems beforehand. This approach is more effective than common practices where teams release early and hope for fixes later. It’s better than simply dropping the game a week before launch, ignoring feedback, and only patching minor graphical issues at day one. *COUGH DICE COUGH COUGH COUGH* "Then they released a half-built game lacking most multiplayer and customization options, plus a severely flawed party system."

Absolutely in line. As discussed, I haven’t bought Batman Arkham Knight. I won’t support studios that ignore QA and PC players. The frequent release of 50% or 60% completed titles is unacceptable right now. Platforms like STEAM and GOG should curb the trend of treating open beta games as full releases or violating trade descriptions. These issues are happening too often.

The trailer seemed impressive, yet the actual gameplay felt like a rough, incomplete pre-release. I wouldn’t purchase it on launch day.

I believe five days might not be sufficient; perhaps extending it to ten days would be better.

Uncertain about the exact build, but it seemed to last longer than a few days.

These individuals (studios) certainly don’t understand that dropping incomplete titles will only damage their reputation over time. Isn’t it absurd?
