The current, "modern" YouTube design is not suitable and needs improvement. What changes should I make?

So about three days ago my YouTube appearance changed and now it’s not working because of the modern, rounded, simplified style. The issue is that in incognito mode it looks normal. I’ve heard someone mention that YouTube might test beta designs on random accounts. Is this kind of change possible?

I understand it might not be a major problem, but the main concern is that I can’t view older videos anymore—the descriptions have changed completely. I dislike this trend where everything is simplified, rounded, and modernized.
