I'm working on the overclocking process and just adjusted the VID/cpu voltage in my BIOS. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 ATX LGA1155 with DDR3 3PCI-E16 and 2PCI-E1 ports, including HDMI, DVI, SLI, SATA3, USB3.0. I was using a CPUID HW Monitor for monitoring during stress tests on an overclocked i5 2500K. Recently, the monitor still shows a voltage of 1.361 V even though I lowered it in BIOS. I'm planning to run another 24 hours but need software that accurately displays the correct voltages. Any suggestions?

You've reviewed the CPUID CPU-Z tool and noticed it doesn't display the VID value. It also shows the CPU voltage at 1.044V, similar to what the HW Monitor reports. You're unsure how to interpret these results. In your BIOS, changes made there are recognized, but software updates haven't reflected them yet.

I see, the options are Auto, Standard, Level 1 and Level 2 for this motherboard. I remember I initially set it to Standard.
