The CPU undervolting failed.
Hi, I have a problem after undervolting my Ryzen 9 5900x On MSI MAG x570 Tomahawk Wifi I've tried to put voltage to 1.02500 and Core Ratio to 47.50 After I saved these settings PC would run normally but I have no Signal on monitors and can't even get into bios now. I have tried reseting CMOS and bios flashback but still no Signal also my Motherboard indicates with white led something is wrong with CPU. Did I just killed my CPU or is there something I can do? When I had undervolt on 1.20000 and Core Ratio 44.50 everything went fine, I just wanted to try how much I can push and now it seems I did hit the limits.
Did you disconnect the power source from the wall and let the computer idle without electricity for about 15 minutes? After that, take out the CMOS battery for a few minutes and press the power button a few times before putting it back in? The remaining energy in the PSU is sufficient to preserve your settings briefly.
Ensure the PSU is disconnected and then powered on. You can use the power button whenever the system setup allows. It’s fine without a GPU.
Remove the processor and inspect for any damaged pins, placing it carefully back in position. Undervolting usually doesn’t harm processors. For the CMOS battery, take it out and unplug the power supply; better yet, disconnect all connected wires from the PSU (unless it’s too cumbersome). Try powering on to clear any remaining power. If your system allows flashing the firmware without starting, consider that option.
Im right now doing the CMOS battery, bios flash I already tried to no result, and pins should be fine, I was gaming on that PC today, I've just decided to try undervolt it even more. And soon I'll have to go to a night shift, so Im just leaving the battery out as long I can and continue tomorrow.
Resetting the CMOS didn't resolve the issue, the PC still powers on but shows no signal and can't access BIOS. The motherboard LED remains active, suggesting the CPU is still detected.
I've attempted everything—replaced the whole PC, unplugged it, removed the CMOS battery, and even tried the power button. Now I’m using just a single RAM stick with a low-power GPU to boot into BIOS, but there’s no signal. The PC powers on normally, yet the monitor stays black and inactive.
