Hi,
since I relocated I’m currently 100-150 FPS below my average, and I suspect the issue might be related to my CPU performance. During gameplay, my CPU reaches as low as 1.2 GHz with a workload of about 20-30%. Could you help me understand what’s happening? Please let me know the specifications so I can upload them if needed.
The CPU model is an Intel Core i7 11700KF from the 11th generation.

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information. Provide the power supply specifications, including voltage, amperage, age, and condition (original, build, refurbished, used). List the disk drive specifications such as make, model, and capacity, along with their current usage. Include a list of all connected peripherals. Specify whether the network connection is wired or wireless.

Include cpu cooler in your specifications.
Monitor CPU temperature using Core Temp, which also shows frequency for reference.
Perform an Intel Burn Test with default settings alongside Core Temp.
IBT will utilize all CPU cores during testing, causing performance to drop.
Watch temperatures closely and stop the program if it reaches high levels near or above 100°C—this can happen quickly due to cooling problems like a dislodged cooler moving.

Run ThrottleStop 9.7.3
ThrottleStop 9.7.3 Download
ThrottleStop is a compact tool aimed at detecting and fixing the three primary forms of CPU throttling commonly encountered on laptops. Visit techpowerup.com to access the Limit Reasons window and discover why your CPU slows down even when running at just 1.2 GHz. Look for any red indicators under the CORE column in the Limit Reasons section.

Take screenshots of the FIVR, TPL, and Limit Reasons windows during issues. Check the Log File option to generate a log file while testing. If you're using an Nvidia GPU, open the Options window and verify the Nvidia GPU setting so logs include relevant data. Share images with www.imgur.com.

You can paste the log file details into www.pastebin.com.

Core Temp is useful but only indicates overheating or thermal throttling. Intel CPUs often have multiple causes for slowing down.

I attempted to collect all my specifications:
Model: Lenovo Legion T7 34IMZ5
Power consumption: 550W
Age: 4 years +
State: good condition
CPU cooler: [link](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/36443641...mkcid=28&google_free_listing_action=view_item)
Currently wireless, previously had wired connections without problems

In the TPL window, Lenovo has adjusted the PROCHOT Offset to 20. This instruction informs the CPU to begin thermal throttling at 80°C rather than the Intel suggested threshold of 100°C.
The standard setting for PROCHOT Offset in Intel is 0. To maintain this value, use ThrottleStop, set the Lock option to the right, and ensure it remains enabled. Changing this back to 20 automatically occurs if you don’t lock it.
You shared a photo of a fan. A functioning CPU needs a heatsink firmly attached to dissipate heat effectively. Additional fans are necessary to prevent overheating. Inadequate cooling can lead to reduced performance. The heatsink and fan selected by Lenovo might not deliver peak efficiency.
Such poor performance is common in this situation. Enhancing cooling and correcting the PROCHOT Offset should significantly improve results.
Also, consider activating Speed Shift Technology in the BIOS, as Windows 11 uses it to manage CPU speed.
