I have an Asus X450JB laptop. The issue is my CPU speed is stuck at 800Mhz, which is way below its designed 2.6GHz. I use ThrottleStop and uncheck the BD_Prochot option so it runs at full speed. But whenever it hits boosted speed, the laptop shuts off without warning. Even when I try to lower it to 1.7Ghz, it still stops. The safest setting is around 1.3Ghz, but that's too low. There’s no overheating—max temperature during gaming was 60°C—and I’m using the recommended power adapter (19V, 4.74A, 90W).

This can be caused due to a cooling issue, try to see a electrician or a person who works in fixing laptops locally, he will be able to help as there is no guarantee here, it might even increase the severity of the problem

It's unclear if the temperature problem is due to cooling. If stress testing the CPU keeps it under 65°C, maybe a local technician would be better.
