I’m a self-taught internet enthusiast who recently got my 6700k overclocked to 4.8ghz. The internet definitely played a big part in that process. I’m wondering if the performance changes when I run it at 4.66ghz versus 4.8ghz. At 4.8ghz, the multiplier stays steady (about 35%), but at 4.66ghz it fluctuates between 34% and 35% under load. Is this normal or should I consider lowering the clock speed?

It's a fairly high indicated core voltage... (disagreeable, honestly)
I'm not sure I'd use that much for the last 100 MHz, though there might be a potential 1 fps improvement in gaming. Good luck...
I received mine at 4.5 with 1.31v, can reach 46 at 1.35v and 47 at 1.4v, but it's still unstable. I'm okay with 47 at 1.42, though it won't run stably. Would you know what software you're using for testing? I just wanted to ask. I also set the adaptive voltage so the system can rest during idle. @ idle it runs at 0.9v and 2.7ghz, 21°. Any lower voltage causes crashes after idle. I think it's better not to keep it at a constant 1.42v.
