you're seeing your cpu perform worse with the second GPU, even though you had a solid 14.1k on cinebench. the 5800x3d is now lagging behind a 5700x bios that's been updated with the latest chipset and docp set to -30 across all cores. i've tried reseating the cards, reapplying paste, and switching to a different cooler, but it's still not matching the performance of the newer setup. you mentioned going back into bios and setting it to auto, since that would let me test it again.

Adjust the multiplier to its maximum possible value across all cores—likely around 44.5 or 45.5—to resolve performance problems on all-core systems

The issue appears solely at 45.5 and doesn't descend further; it remains fixed at 45.5 as shown in hwinfo.

45.5x boost for allcore at 4.55GHz is what you need, but keep sleep modes active for real savings. If you share a CPU-Z screenshot and an HWInfo image, I can confirm it's running at the expected speed. Then run Cinebench to check if performance improves.

Operated at 4.6Ghz; performance was strong but not as impressive as the 14.1k result.

Isn't this typical? 3D chips often lag behind their non-3D counterparts, making your 5800X3D act more like a 5700X.

It's completely unusual, as most online tests display 14k to 15k points, while I receive only 13-13.7k points.

The change is about 5%, possibly from OC or cooling, not a major issue. On my 5900X I have around 20.5K unless I upgrade to 180W+, which brings it to 21.5K. The clocks increase by about 50-100 MHz. 5800x3D is intended for gaming, where multi-core performance isn't the main concern.

Absolutely, a 5% variation makes a noticeable impact between a steady 165 fps and 120 fps.
