The CPU indicator shows a red signal and the DRAM displays a yellow light.
Today was the hardest. I finally managed to complete the last part of upgrading my PC. It involved replacing the components to install a Ryzen 7. Right now I have a Ryzen 7 7800x3d, two Corsair Vengeance 16GB 5600MHz units, an MSI 3070ti, and a MSI MAG B650 tomahawk Wi-Fi. I’ve inspected every cable, verified the CPU connections, and spent three hours trying without success. Anyone have any advice?
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! How are you managing to cool the processor in your setup? While the case is positioned on its side, laid flat, ease the pressure on the CPU's socket until the cooler makes contact with the CPU's IHS but remains unsecured—check if you can get POST. Which two slots are being filled with the RAM modules on the motherboard?
I own a Peerless assassin as my CPU cooler, which is almost completely loose as another thread mentioned it could be too tight. For the RAM, I have both in channel 1, but the motherboard now advises using channel 2 first, so I plan to try that and will update you on the outcome.
