I just completed my PC setup and everything looked great until I turned it on. A red indicator lit up and showed the CPU status. All other components seemed normal. I then removed parts one by one to see if any were causing issues. I also inspected the CPU cooler and the chip itself, finding no faults with the pins or screws. I’m really confused and would value your assistance. Thanks. Your PC parts list is included.

Hello there! Are you sure you connected the CPU EPS power cord correctly? These cables are usually found at the top left corner of the motherboard.

If you're certain about this, the processor has stopped working. However, I don't believe that's accurate. Remove the CPU carefully and place it back in. You can reuse the thermal paste if needed. Ensure all connections are properly secured.

Ensure the CPU power is connected and all cables linked to the CPU are attached. Check if the light remains active during booting, as with my setup (Ryzen 3 3300X, RX570, B450, Tomahawk), a CPU lid flash occurs each time I power on but then the system boots normally.

The Gigabyte Auros X470 illuminates the CPU indicator during its check. The light turns off once the process is complete. It shouldn't remain on afterward.

Inspect every link and confirm they're working. The CPU might have stopped responding. Follow @HanZie82's advice to reinstall it and check for improvement.

I've already attempted to remove it and reinstall, but there are no improvements.

Do you have someone who can test your motherboard for processor issues? Or perhaps they can swap in a different CPU to see if it starts up. I think most people won’t be able to do this themselves.
