Not using any high-end games for around five hours has caused my system to freeze constantly until I rebooted. Someone with knowledge would appreciate any advice or explanation. Hardware specs: CPU R5 7600X, cooler Thermalright x90 SE, 32GB RAM at 6400Hz, GPU 4070. No diagnostics available, but a restart fixed the problem. Thanks!

It's odd that restarting fixed the problem. Five hours feels like a long warm-up. Consider installing GPU-z or HWinfo64 for temperature tracking. You might also look into the Windows Event Viewer to see if any logs match. Good luck!

It seems like my GPU might be running low on VRAM, which doesn’t seem likely since I’m not using high-end games.

You're unsure whether the problem involves VRAM or system RAM. Either way, you should have sufficient of both. I came across a Reddit discussion with the same issue (using a 4070 ti). The suggested fix is that the AMD iGPU drivers clash with NVIDIA drivers, causing the problem. If that doesn't resolve it, try using DDU to clear all GPU drivers and then reinstall Nvidia. Good luck!

It might mean there aren't enough RAM resources for the game, so I'll attempt both options!
