Hello everyone, my setup is brand new but I’m confused about the issues. My CPU fan turns on and off repeatedly every few seconds. I cleaned the PC last week and verified everything is properly connected. I have the following components: Intel® Core™ i5-10600K CPU @ 4.10GHz, a 4.10 GHz GPU, GTX 1070, 8 GB RAM, and an 8 GB Gigabyte B460 HD motherboard. I’ve checked all connections and settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve also tried fan control and fan curves, but it doesn’t seem to save my profile. The BIOS reset didn’t help either. Please let me know what’s happening.
I don't think the google drive link is set up; I certainly couldn't access it. Regardless, good list of things to check for weird fan activity: -Check the fan settings in BIOS, is the mode set to DC or PWM? Make sure this mode matches with your fan's mode -Use HWInfo64 to watch the fan changes. If the sense pin that senses the rotation is plugged in, you can see if the fan changes in Windows. If the RPM is swinging wildly in this one, then you can confirm that it's not a loose cable. -Set your fan curves in the BIOS. I'm not sure why you're having issues setting a fan curve, but I would say try using the BIOS to set a fan curve. -Check your fan voltages. Your standard motherboard should be providing 12V to the fans, and if the fans are 5 volts, then you can't use your fan on that header and you will need a step-down converter to make that work.

I haven't stopped progressing yet. I've configured my fan settings, but I still require additional fans at the front. I currently have three exhaust and two intake fans, yet the thermal management around my PC remains effective in its cold spot inside the house.
