The CPU display red light flashes briefly on the motherboard slot, followed by the DRAM yellow indicator remaining lit.
I am testing a fresh installation with an Asus Prime Z790-A setup. It includes the Wi-Fi G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB F5-5600U, 16x2 DDR5, 5600MHz TUF, LC240 RGB, Corsair CX850M, and other components. The only port available is a single 8-pin connector while my motherboard provides two 8-pin CPU slots. Upon powering it up, I see all RGB lights activate and all five fans spin rapidly. A quick red flash from the CPU indicates the system is booting, followed by constant DRAM light activity and no display appears.
I have attempted to reinstall CMOS, replaced the CPU and RAM, updated the SSD, removed the CMOS battery, unplugged the GPU, tried connecting via HDMI on both the GPU and motherboard, and even used different HDMI cables. Recently, I discovered on the official ASUS site that my RAM isn’t showing up in the motherboard compatibility list.
I’m considering swapping out the PSU to see if a newer model with a dual 8-pin CPU port works better. All components are new except the case, GPU, and PSU. Thank you for your help, Rasadingo!
I attempted to relocate the RAM to incorrect settings 1, 2, 1, 3, 4. Now it's set to 2 and 4. I'm also testing each RAM separately.
I located the answer to the issue, which turned out to be related to the RAM memory. Now everything functions properly, and I can utilize maximum power from my RAM when connecting both 8-pin connectors on the motherboard after purchasing a new PSU.
