I took out the CPU cooler now and the CPU got stuck there. After that, I tried to reattach the cooler with the CPU connected, but it doesn’t fit properly.

It's tricky to check pin/socket alignment when the CPU is inside the cooler. You might need a different setup or tool to view it clearly.

Of course it won't - you need to separate the two & reinstall the CPU correctly... if you still can, that is.

Usually you remove the CPU from the cooler when it's stuck. First place the CPU into the socket, then position the cooler on top since the retention arm can't go through the cooler.

That's a better idea, but it doesn't seem like a standard way to mount a CPU or cooler.

I'm struggling to accept this situation... placing the heatsink with the CPU inside the socket is tricky because of the retention arm.
