I don't own any social media profiles, so I can't reply directly to posts. I created an account and shared this information here. Valve commissioned a firm to build a kernel module that would forward kernel system calls to a compatibility layer such as WINE or Proton. This update was included in kernel version 5.11. It seems their decision to adopt Arch Linux might stem from the fact that Debian and Ubuntu won't receive kernel version 5.11 for a long time, possibly. We've been aware they were preparing a Linux gaming platform since February, lol. Check out the video I first saw about it and this forum discussion from February. This is my final post on the thread, just sharing it here. Have a great weekend!

I'm wondering if Epic can achieve the same with Valve just by adapting their approach. What exactly are you asking about, and why might it not be possible?
