The controller links through Bluetooth yet fails to be detected.
Hey, I've been facing this problem for a few days now and thought it might help to discuss it here. I'm trying to connect my Nintendo Switch Pro controller to my PC using wired mode. While working with motion controls it can be really frustrating because of the exposed cable and a short wire. My motherboard doesn't support Bluetooth, so I used an UGREEN BT5.3 dongle. After setting it up in Windows settings and pairing the controller, it appears connected fine. But when I open Steam, it doesn't recognize the device at all. No other programs are affected. I've searched for similar issues but haven't found anyone with the exact setup working. One user mentioned reinstalling Windows, which isn't an option for me. I've tried many fixes so far and still don't know what to do. It seems to work perfectly when wired, but not on another system using the same dongle and controller. I'm planning to update my BIOS just in case, though I'm skeptical. Another odd thing is that the controller only responds with reWASD in this software, and it feels a bit clunky overall. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
