I installed Ubuntu on a mini PC for use as a Plex server and configured remote desktop access. When the server is placed on your desk and connected via monitor, switching to your Windows PC works smoothly. However, once the server moves to its new location, remote desktop becomes unstable—disconnecting causes it to flash and then shut down. It’s set to log in automatically at startup.
Ubuntu requires a GPU or monitor to launch the GUI by default. You can activate it using a command. The exact method might differ, but I recall encountering this problem before.
