There are players discussing this game. It's considered excellent, especially since the author has played the original BoI for around 370 hours. They mention struggling with Rebirth despite having unlocked several endings in about 110 hours on normal settings. The excitement is high for the afterbirth DLC, but concerns exist about purchasing it due to payment issues in Greece.
I’m only logged in for 35 hours in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, yet I believe I’ve mastered all endings. Still, I need to unlock 46 achievements for a full completion. Going from the original game, I found Rebirth was significantly simpler.
Sure thing. It's definitely simpler now. The original version was tougher, but rebirth is great and includes plenty of improvements.
I really enjoy Rebirth. I've been gradually earning unlocks and updating character notes. Two of them are finished on hard mode. I didn't invest much time in the original but watched a lot of it. It looked like getting Guppy from the original had an 85% success rate. Book of Revelations felt like a strong contender on its own since it provided substantial HP you could build up beyond 12. You also had a decent chance to obtain a 4th level meatboy. Don't hesitate to play hard mode—it makes a noticeable difference, mainly by adding more champion enemies. It slightly reduces consumable drops and increases the difficulty of levels.
I just wanted to mention how much you like my profile picture—it's really impressive!
