Hey all, I've recently been experiencing some problems with my Wifi and Ethernet. I'm paying my ISP for 500 mbs download and 40 mbps upload, however after a day or two it drops down to 300 mbs download (upload stays the same). We're in a big household and its setup for a small business since we run a company from home. The current setup is: Modem --> Router --> 1.Acces Point 2.Switch 3. NAS. Switch has multiple cables going to pc's, consoles, printers, smarthome stuff, etc. All cables we run are Cat7 except for 2/3 old Cat5 cables to consoles. I'm assuming it is a problem that has to do with heat buildup in the modem so I checked both modem and router logs for any problems. Router shows no problems and steady temp, modem however usually is 70 degrees celsius and has multiple warnings in the log for too high temperatures. I'm however not too familiar with the logs and stuff and would appreciate if some of you could give it a look and tell me what the definite problem is and how I should resolve in fixing it (New modem, cool it, etc.).
