I'm not sure if I've asked this question before, but I'm dealing with it now... At school, many students use their laptops, but they usually connect to Wi-Fi without issues. Only mine has trouble. I told the IT teacher to investigate, but they haven't done it. I've tried reinstalling drivers—both official and unofficial—and nothing works. When I opened my laptop, I noticed one Wi-Fi cable was missing. After fixing it, the problem disappeared. It used to happen sometimes, but after reinstalling Windows, it returned. Here are my specs: Lenovo 500s-13isk, i5-6200U, Intel HD520, Samsung 256GB SSD, Qualcomm QCA9377 dual-band card. All settings are set to defaults, and the driver was released in May 2016. I've also noticed that connecting to OpenVPN at home causes more frequent disconnections, even without a VPN. It doesn't work sometimes, even when I'm not using it. Please help me.

It might be that you're attempting to link to your home VPN and the connection is being lost. Have you attempted connecting your phone to the WiFi network? You could try that and eliminate any issues. Additionally, contact the IT department. Request assistance from someone other than your teacher.

I referred to the IT department, which is the IT office... I've been complaining for a long time, and my VPN connection doesn't drop on Mac devices.
