search for a connector with 8 or 6 holes arranged in a grid. Given your PCIe card delivering over 75 watts, you’ll likely see fans reaching maximum speed and a prompt on your monitor advising to connect the GPU power cables. unless you were wrong, this might be the problem. also, check if the card has faulty video output—testing all options could help.
