Hello, I've faced an issue over the past three weeks. My computer won't power on unless I completely shut it down for a long time (PSU turned off). All components except the QLED display start up, but after letting the PC drain for more than two hours it works normally. It doesn't boot at all, so I can't even access BIOS. This is becoming really frustrating, especially since I had to turn off the PSU every time I shut it down. The last time I forgot, it was the fourth attempt and now I'm at my limit. I've checked various troubleshooting steps on forums, but nothing helped so far. My current setup is about 1.5 years old, RAM is brand new, OS is Windows 10 Pro, motherboard is ROG Strix B460F, PSU is Corsair TX650M, CPU is i5-10500, GPU is ASUS GeForce RTX 2060, RAM is 16x2 G.Skill AEGIS at 3000MHz.
I've tested various rams and a fully functional PSU. Using outlets with different voltages and amperage works consistently throughout the house.
Capacitor issue on motherboard is likely. For confirmation, next time it occurs, shut off the PSU, keep the power button pressed for 10 seconds, then restart the system. If it boots, the problem probably lies with the motherboard capacitor, assuming the PSU was ruled out.
Attempted to use newest drivers and flashback tool, but results were not achieved.
I've already tried this without any change, so I think the problem might be with the new version. I placed an order a few days back and expect delivery soon or next week. Fingers crossed it fixes the issue.
