Hello, my friend and I were constructing a new computer for him—it was his first build, mine was the second. Once we assembled it, the initial connection of wires brought everything back into the case before powering it on. Nothing happened; the motherboard showed no lights, no beeps, absolutely nothing. He had purchased the motherboard, GPU, and RAM secondhand, so I suspected the motherboard might be defective after double-checking the connections. I bought a replacement board for him. We rebuilt the PC, and the issue repeated with this one too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Parts used: Case (Lian Li O11 Air Mini), GPU (2080 Ti), RAM (2x8GB 3200 MHz), CPU (Intel i5-12400), PSU (Corsair RM850), Storage (Inland Professional 1TB). Motherboard (NZXT N7 Z690).
