I watched a YouTube video discussing a Y connector, but when I researched it, I couldn’t locate a Y adapter specifically designed for a 3 to 4-pin connection. My computer is an IPM17 002 model, and I own a NZXT H500 case which included two 4-pin fans. My motherboard has only one 3-pin fan header.

A 4-pin Y adapter can be used. The fourth pin carries the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. It’s fine to omit this pin if you don't connect it.
