My GPU has been overclocked for some time, and it crashed recently. After a reset, it can't be overclocked anymore. I previously adjusted the memory speed to 150MHz but forgot the setting. Now I'm trying a different lower overclock, but changing everything back caused the system to crash with a black screen and a restart. The settings are resetting to defaults. Do you know what to do? Or should I just keep it as is? The GPU model is Radeon R9 380 Gigabyte G1 Gaming.
Did you adjust the Radeon settings to overclock? What temperature did you reach? You might have pushed it too far and it’s trying to protect itself. Initially, I was using MSI Afterburner for a different approach, but the results were similar with Radeon Settings. The 38°C during idle wasn’t unusual, and before that it was around 8.6% overclocked, now aiming for a 4%... It seems unlikely this is the cause.
