I recently assembled a new PC about four to five months ago. When attempting demanding titles such as Resident Evil 4, COD MW3, and others, it crashes rather than running smoothly. It wasn’t just under light load or simple games like TFT; even then it didn’t work. What kept me away for so long was my desire to enjoy the new machine, especially since it didn’t perform well when I turned on the air conditioning. Here are my system details: Windows 64bit, motherboard from GIGABYTE Z790, Intel i7-13700 CPU, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Eagle OC 12G graphics card, 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6400MHz, Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 V2 80 Plus case, and a HWINFO check showed all temps normal.

Verify overall power consumption during operation. This isn't necessarily the issue, but it's a good check. If the system stops during testing, consider reducing GPU output using MSI Afterburner (for instance). Then see if the computer powers down in those same games at lower wattage levels.

Sorry for the delay, I had a last-minute request. Could you clarify how you'd like to proceed?

Verify using HWINFO during operation or under load. Alternatively, try one of the watt-measuring devices.
