I’ve owned this computer for about eight years now. Recently, it started producing this unusual "flick" noise. The sound matches what I hear when I power off the machine using the physical button (the audio file is attached). It happens repeatedly during startup and under moderate stress (such as gaming), but also occasionally when just browsing Chrome. A few seconds after the button press, the entire system freezes briefly before becoming extremely sluggish—can’t even access folders. Given its age and absence of solid-state storage, I’d perform a SMART test using CrystalDiskInfo. Eight years of intense use might be leading to problems with this mechanical hard drive.

It's interesting you noted the BSOD and the blue screen; it seemed unrelated at first, but maybe another indicator of a bad power supply. I'll check everything and keep you posted. Thanks!

They indicate the acceptable temperature ranges. I’m concerned about the motherboard. An 8-year life seems short for that component.

Yea, I honestly have no idea why they're that high. There's already 5 case fans blasting in my PC. Is there any way to confirm that the motherboard is actually faulty or maybe HWInfo is just not recognizing the actual temperatures it?
