The computer stops working after you hit your desk.
It began when I took out my graphics card without a clear reason. After rebooting, I noticed the computer would crash whenever I bumped or slammed my desk. Removing the card made everything normal, so it was likely related to the graphics card itself. When the card was inside, crashes occurred. I replaced the motherboard to check for a faulty PCIe slot, but it didn’t match. I tested the card thoroughly and confirmed all connections were secure. I stress-tested it and it ran smoothly for ten minutes straight. Any slight impact or tap caused it to crash again. I’ve tried undervolting the card, reinstalling drivers, and cleaning fans, but nothing resolved the issue. It could be a problem with the PCIe slot, though I’m not certain. My Gigabyte RTX 3070 OC has three fans and is slightly bent—maybe that’s the cause. If you have any suggestions, please share. Thanks!
The GPU pins look fine there only 2 shorter ones but that's normal. Also I wasn't really slamming my desk its the tiniest taps with the smallest amount of force it is a very strange problem.
I realized I purchased a USB coiled cable for my keyboard, and even though the PC isn't running, the keyboard lights up when I touch it. Recently, I checked and confirmed the cable is securely connected.
Check for additional USB devices, disconnect everything and tap the desk.
