Hello, I’m a new user here seeking assistance. I created an account hoping to find solutions to a problem I’m experiencing. I'm not certain if this is the appropriate forum for these inquiries, and apologize if it isn’t.

Recently, I assembled my own PC using a combination of new and previously owned parts. My primary concern is that occasionally, after operating the computer for a few minutes, it will suddenly freeze for approximately ten seconds before displaying a black screen. Interestingly, the system doesn’t shut down or restart automatically; instead, the fans continue to spin and the device remains unresponsive. After a manual restart, however, everything functions perfectly until further use. I can comfortably play games and stream content for extended periods without encountering any issues.

My system’s temperature readings are within acceptable ranges: the CPU maintains 33-35 degrees Celsius, while the GPU occasionally reaches around 45 degrees.

Here’s a list of my hardware specifications:

New components:
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B450
Processor: Ryzen 5 2600
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 mhz 2x8 GB
Power Supply: Corsair VS650
Solid State Drive: WD 480 GB

Used components:
Graphics Card: RX 580 8GB
Hard Disk Drive: Seagate Baracuda 1TB

Examine the Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes and alerts linked to the system crashes.

Assess that in a recently assembled computer, a component might have shifted slightly, resulting in unstable connections.

The issue resolves itself after the system reaches a higher temperature and components expand, restoring stability.

Turn off the computer, disconnect it from power, open the case, and reinsert all cards, memory modules, cables, jumpers, and other hardware components.

Investigate the Reliability History and Event Viewer to identify error codes and cautions linked to the system crashes.
Think about the fact that, as a recently assembled machine, a component might have shifted slightly, resulting in weak connections.
It’s possible that it appeared functional initially but wasn't entirely secured from the start.
The issue resolves itself when the system reaches a warmer temperature, experiencing an increase in size and improved stability.
Turn off the device, disconnect it from the power source, open the casing, and reinsert all components – graphics cards, memory modules, cables, jumpers, and so on.
