I've never experienced anything like this before. The screen and sound disappeared gradually without any abrupt stop. Afterwards, the computer shut down smoothly, with no freezing or errors. It seems the power supply might be unstable, especially in a motel setting. The flickering lights could indicate electrical issues rather than just dirty power.

It’s mainly about the power source; if the current isn’t strong enough or too contaminated, a good power supply will trigger the overcurrent protection, allowing the PC to shut down safely without damaging itself. If everything looks normal, the power supply is doing its job—proceed with confidence.

Seems like a lot of thought went into this. Probably just some messy power without aging effects. But if that happened, I’d bet it would stop working during gameplay rather than just hanging around chatting on Discord and using VLC.
