I've faced several problems with my PC recently. Yesterday night I was working on fixing my M.2 drive and now all the issues are happening again. My computer restarted multiple times last night. Once it worked, everything seemed normal. Then I started playing the new Tony Hawk game, which froze completely. I decided to power off the machine by pressing the power button. This morning when I tried to turn it on, it would briefly power up before shutting down again—three times in total. I checked the post screen and found it booted into safe mode. I went into BIOS and everything looked fine. After a system restart, it still didn’t work. Now the PC turns on but stays off, with no display or fans working. I’m certain this isn’t a temporary problem. So far I’ve removed the CMOS to try resetting the BIOS, but that didn’t help. Whenever I restart by turning off the PSU or holding the power button, it doesn’t immediately come back online. My PC specs are listed in my signature. I don’t have any spare parts on hand to test components. I’m leaning toward a faulty board, though I’m not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
