Hi, your computer shuts down unexpectedly without restarting unless you manually cut power from the back. It runs smoothly under load and stress tests, even when gaming. Everything seems fine despite being new—just built it 4 months ago. Expo memory overclocking isn’t enabled because of an SOC issue, and everything is default in BIOS. You ran OCCT stress tests, Windows Memory Diagnostic checked RAM, rechecked cables, and switched to a different power outlet. I’m here to help you figure out or fix the problem.

You might want to update the BIOS to avoid needing to turn on EXPO. The shutdown behavior seems normal when under stress but unstable when idle. PBO could be accidentally active—consider testing the core cycler from GitHub (it runs slowly and stresses the CPU) or disabling C-states in BIOS. If WHEA-18 errors appear even at default settings, a faulty CPU might be the issue.

I believe PBO isn't the right choice since I set everything to default except C-State, which triggered an issue. The event viewer highlighted Kernel-Power 41 as a critical error, not very detailed, plus other warnings like DCOM, Device.RaidPort4, and so on.

It might be due to GPU instability. Consider testing Prime 95 (to stress CPU) and MSI Kombuster/Furmark (to stress GPU). This could trigger OPP/OCP issues from GPU spikes.

It seems like the PSU is faulty, which matches what you noticed. Also, the IDC mentioned it's an ASUS model, so that makes sense.

Recent MSI GPU evaluation (kombustor) completed without issues. Prime95 CPU test also finished successfully after 30 minutes. Just discovered a notification from AMD software today.
