Hey everyone. Whenever I put my PC into sleep mode, it powers up on its own. I tried unplugging the mouse to check if that was the issue, but it still wakes up. I’m not sure what’s causing this and would really appreciate any advice. Thanks for your help!

I notice a growing number of these discussions each week. Eventually, we might start accepting the machines' control.

Usually, use Wake on LAN. Open Device Manager, check your Ethernet card, and ensure the options for waking up on magic packets are not selected.

My mouse works very precisely, making it feel like you're moving while sitting. This can trigger the computer to turn on. My workspace is on a solid hardwood surface.

Apologies for the oversight, but this has been a recurring problem and I aim to resolve it. No more occurrences *Bows to the overlord*

Enable Windows settings to ignore mouse activation. Check Device Manager for adjustments.

For the tip, it's not a problem for me since I rarely leave my PC running. When it's on and I need to exit, I simply shut down the monitors. I mentioned this just for the reader.
