My HP built in 2013 often stops working when I accidentally shake my desk. I’m not sure why this happens, and it usually takes about 15 minutes to restart, which bothers me a lot.

Ensure all cables are firmly attached. Consider placing the computer on the ground if possible. You may need to drill into the machine and verify every connection is secure—after nine years it’s possible some links could have loosened slightly.

Thanks! I'll look into the connections, but unfortunately I don't have enough cables to lay them down. I'll still check, and appreciate your assistance!

We're discussing a complete breakdown of the setup—like a sudden bump that could knock over a pen, or the effort spent crafting an avatar, ten hours into a match, ending with the final boss, plus countless minor glitches, all leading to a total meltdown.

A slight bump here, but it’d barely move a pencil.

I'm in favor of that too. Has it ever completely stopped before? If yes, maybe something slipped out—just verify the cables first.

I never let it fall, it’s the only machine I own, so even when moving it for cleaning, I’m ready to bend my fingers to protect the surface.

I understand, I've been a long-term relationship for ten years too, though sometimes things just happen.
