I've experienced problems with certain sections of my PC, including a Kavmas Pro 16 as a secondary display. The system would suddenly freeze without any clear cause, sometimes accompanied by "Event 10016 DistrubutedComs" warnings just before the crash. These logs appear during gameplay or while using Discord or streaming. I searched YouTube for solutions but found no effective fixes—changing app permissions didn’t help and might have worsened things. I’ve asked other users online, but no reliable method has been shared yet. It seems like a hardware issue, even though the machine was brand new this year. I've tried reseating RAM on a few occasions, but nothing else seems to work. No overclocking is enabled, and I haven’t followed the XMP setup video closely.

I can provide detailed system requirements and specifications. The Kingston NV2 is known for overheating, so please confirm if a heatsink is present. For temperature estimates during gaming and YouTube viewing, refer to the SMART table data. You can share a screenshot of its SMART table using CrystalDiskInfo. Regarding driver updates, check for any GPU, motherboard, or chipset updates—especially since you mentioned an AMD PC and ongoing Asrock motherboard issues. The recent SSD disappearance concern might relate to older AGESA versions; the latest BIOS could mitigate this. Have you run memtest, DISM, and SFC scans? You can follow the provided link for guidance.

I don’t think those are the main concerns. I have a heat sink included (comes with the board), does the plastic part on the NVMe need removal?

The SFC performed a repair. Did you use DISM or just a scan? It indicated the component store is fixable. Have you experienced freezing afterward? You may have chosen the incorrect application. CrystalDiskMark serves as their benchmark tool, while CrystalDiskInfo reads drive health data. Even passing memtest doesn't guarantee stable memory if running at high speeds. Consider disabling XMP settings and letting it operate at base speed. If stability returns without freezing, explore optimal speed ranges. You didn't specify the PSU; its age or power could be the issue. Certain models may have known reliability problems. DistributedCOM warnings are often irrelevant, particularly for version 10016. Are there additional errors or alerts in the Event Viewer? Do any components show warnings in Device Manager?
