Playing Valorant causes my whole PC to restart, and the event viewer reports a critical error (I attached an image of the error). It only happens with Valorant, not other games like League, even though they use the same launcher client. I adjusted the video settings, updated my GPU drivers, and even disabled the firewall, but the issue persists. I don’t know what’s behind it.

What BIOS version do you have installed on your motherboard?
600W Gold EVGA – EVGA is the brand name, while 600W refers to the advertised power output. Could you share the model number of your PSU and its age?
System restarts occur for two main reasons:
1) Overheating problem
2) Insufficient power delivery when under load
You might want to use HWinfo to track temperatures. Please note how you cool your processor and provide details about your CPU cooler’s make and model.

I would attempt a controlled crash to get at least some indication.
I’d begin with memtest64+, as it performs better when booting from USB compared to the Windows version.
While doing this, I’d also run hwinfo and a CPU stress test program. Cinnebench is usually the one used for such checks.
I’m hoping it will crash, but I also expect hwinfo to show something beforehand.
Most modern CPUs have built-in protections against overheating, though sudden shutdowns can occur to prevent damage.
If neither memory nor CPU fails during testing, you might encounter issues with the video card itself.
It’s unclear if there’s a specific GPU test tool available, as many different processor types exist on GPUs.
This could also explain why only certain games crash.
You mentioned trying the newest video drivers—have you tested older ones instead?
Nvidia has released unstable drivers recently for many companies.
