I recently assembled a brand new PC on Tuesday. The configuration includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an RX 6800 graphics card, a 750W PSU, 32GB DDR5 M.2 SSD, and a 1000W power supply. The system randomly blacks during gameplay, especially when running EFT. I've replaced the RAM, upgraded the motherboard, switched to a 1000W PSU, and even disabled Expo, but the problem persists. No third-party cables are connected to the PSU or components. I'm unsure if the GPU is the issue. Please help!

Does it restart during shutdown? For me it seems to restart unpredictably. My main concern was the PSU after checking, which caused the rails to behave strangely. You mentioned you've already replaced the motherboard, RAM, and PSU. Are you experiencing image loss on the monitor or is the system shutting down completely? It feels like you need to press the power button to turn it back on again.

The color remains visible on the screen while audio disappears and everything turns black. The machine appears to be attempting a restart, yet there is no response or data being sent.

Event viewer indicates the status after restarting. GPU is either vertical or connected directly to the motherboard. Replies can be seen once they are posted.

The issue appears to be embedded in the motherboard, with an error code indicating a kernel power problem.

It is located on the motherboard and the error message indicates event 41 kernel power issue.

I tried running memtest86 to test RAM issues, but it seems the problem might be coming from the power supply instead since I also encountered the same critical error.

I changed both components, but the issue persists even after upgrading to a 1000W PSU. It seems like the GPU might still be the cause. This is the only part that hasn’t been replaced yet.

I experience a comparable problem. The screen turns off, the CPU cooler shuts down, and both the keyboard and mouse stop working while the LEDs remain active. Specifications: I7-6700, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Seagate HDD, 128GB SSD, GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H motherboard, 450W PSU.

Did you perform a memory test? It doesn't matter whether you swapped parts in or out. Their presence on your motherboard's compatibility checklist should reflect successful testing. Often it really comes down to that.
