Hey everyone! I'm reaching out since I'm having trouble figuring out why my PC shuts down completely during gaming. I managed to reproduce the problem consistently, but only when Heaven Extreme with Cinebench R23 was running alongside it—not when using just one. I've attached the HWinfo log from when the crash happened, plus a DXDiag report if that could be useful. So far, the numbers in the logs aren't clear to me, so any guidance would be super helpful!

Hardware details: Intel i9-12900k with Noctua NH-D15 cooler, Powercolor 7900 XTX, MSI Z690-a pro Wi-Fi, Ripjaws S5 32GB (2x16GB DDR5-6000), EVGA 850W GA, crash log saved as Crash_Log.CSV.

Typically, this will point to a power supply problem when it stops under heavy use. Something is activating one of the safeguards causing this.

I can check the details using what I have, so you don’t need to buy anything else.

Verify the readings while operating. Are you running the newest firmware? The power supply could be insufficient for that setup when under stress.

Your PSU is correct. Evgas are also known for this. Consider Corsair RXM or Superflower Leadex III.

To estimate the power usage of your system, consider purchasing a plug-in wattmeter for around $20. If your system exceeds 800 watts, it likely indicates the power supply unit is safeguarding itself.
