The computer isn't powering up.
Hey guys, It's been a week(ish) since I've last used this PC, or anyone else for that matter, and last time it was working fine. This morning I went to use it and it just won't power up, I recently changed the mobo & processor to a newer 12gen i5 12400 & B660 Auros Master DDR4. The PSU is a FSP Hydro G PRO 650W 12cm Fan that's only 1&1/2 years old. Now there were has been a bit of heavy weather but everything else (in that room) seems to be working fine. I tried a different cable and a different power outlet yet the PC still won't power up. When I turn on the PSU I do see a small spark to indicate the system has turned on but nothing else seems to be actually responding. Thanks for all the help!
Restart CMOS, reposition RAM and CPU connectors, refresh all connections, and try accessing the BIOS again.
Have you explored another power supply unit? Have you rearranged parts to discover alternatives?
Inspect every connection on the board—it could be missing somewhere. When I faced this issue, I checked all incoming wiring to the disk at the start/restart buttons. If it wasn’t there, the fault was likely in the system management. As the process was outlined before, I’d like to mention hearing difficulties and recommend consulting a specialist for an evaluation. You can find details about hearing problems and related issues online.
At the end it was fixed, it seems the issue is quite delicate so I opened it carefully, checked all connections, and it functioned properly. Then I moved the computer back to its original position and again it didn’t work, so I reopened it, verified everything was intact, and voilà, it worked perfectly.
