Hello everyone, I need your assistance.
My PC build details are as follows: the PSU is an Aerocool vx-500. The computer is booting for roughly 4 to 5 seconds before shutting down, but the power indicator remains on. I’m having to turn off the PSU again to restart the system.
I believe the PSU isn’t functioning properly and I’ve heard some unusual noises coming from it.
Recently, after upgrading my GTX 750ti to GTX 1050ti, I experienced similar issues—once or twice during booting. Now, with the new GPU, the problem occurs every time I power on the machine.
If this is indeed a PSU issue, could you suggest a reliable PSU in the $50 to $60 range?

The Seasonic S12II and M12II are solid choices, especially considering their value for money. You might also find their 520W models available for $30.

Do you think the issue lies with the power supply unit?

It seems like you're considering replacing the part if it's making noises when turning off the switch on the back of the unit.

It seems like you're considering replacing the switch if it's making noises when turning off the unit. I'd recommend checking it out and replacing it if necessary. You might also look into buying it from a local store for $75 or opting for Seasonic as an alternative.

Purchase an item verified as gold-certified.
The reason individuals continue to receive bronze remains unclear.

DarkOutlaw :
Choose items that are gold certified.
Why do folks still opt for bronze???
Limited budget

Th1erry:
DarkOutlaw :
People often end up with bronze instead of gold.
Reason: tight budget
Two crap PSU $$ equals one good PSU $$
