Absolutely, thermal throttling is a factor to consider. For instance, with a stock Intel box cooler and just one fan GPU, switching thermal paste can make a big difference. However, if you're using an AIO on an i3 with three low-power GPUs (like mine), you probably won't need to change the thermal paste as often.

The GPU cooled down more than expected a week after purchasing the computer. The CPU, on the other hand, was slightly warmer than before. Overall, the system felt cooler since I replaced the overheating PSU.
